From Girl.
I saw this on Girl's blog (http://girlgonegreat.blogspot.com) and thought it was cute and clever. She answered five interview questions from another blogger and offered the invitation to her readers for her to interview them. I took her up on the invitation. Below is her interview questions and my answers:
1) What is an opportunity that you have had in your past that you would like your daughter to have as well?
It's hard to think of just one. I've had so many great opportunities and experiences in my life that I hope she gets to enjoy as well. For the sake of this interview, I'll choose just one of those to discuss here. I remember taking a trip to our nation's capital in the 8th grade. There was so much to see, experience, and learn there about our nation, and our nation's history. It really helped those stories from the American History text book come to life. I hope my daughter has the same opportunity. I had it on my list of things to do with her this summer, but I don't think we'll get there this year as our summer agenda is nearly full already :) I'm certain she'll get over there though.
2) If you could make one major renovation to your house, what would it be?
My bathroom needs a complete overhaul. Most of the 1953 home has had rennovations over the past 50 years, but the bathroom has not. The difficulty with such a rennovation (aside from the finances required) is that it's the only bathroom in my house and the overhaul would mean it would be completely inoperable for periods of time. That's a little hard to deal with :)
3) What is your most artistic talent?
I'm not artistic at all. I am creative, but not artistic. So, if I have ANY artistic talent at all I'd say it would be photographing. I'm not trained in any way, but sometimes I'm lucky enough to snap a good shot. My favorite subject is my daughter. She has very photographic features.
4) What was the name of the first boy you kissed and (only if you want) can you tell us the story?
Daniel Keith. I was in 13 and he was 16. He drove a car :) He was in highschool and therefore got out of school earlier than me. One day he snuck over to my middle school to visit me between classes (that big 4 minute break you get to move from one class to the next). He kissed me in the hallway just before I ran into my next class.
5) If you could eat a crayon, what color would it by and why?
It would be a swirly crayon made up of multiple colors. . . equal amounts of each color so as to not have the mixture dominated by any one color. Why? Why limit yourself to just one color?
Bonus question: WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?? We miss you!!!
Aww! Thank you!! I have been incredibly busy with life and have found it so difficult to make time for blogging :( But, life's been good!
